Snehashram got its entry into Tamilnadu quite unexpectedly. A man called Mr. Radhakrishnan one day visited our centre at Kumily. Seeing our services to the poor and being edified by our work invited us to Theni where he gave us 50 cents of land. Later we brought 2 acres of land. Now we have a decent centre accommodating 100 people, with Agricultural activities to keep our residents active.
The people of the locality give us everything we need and we lack nothing. Even in the medical college, our patients are well taken care of and our sisters have free pass in the buses. In the future this gives us the courage to start more centres in Tamilnadu.
